Two armed robberies Sunday night in Madison could be the work of the same suspect. Police say the first happened around 11 p.m. at Selective Video on Commercial Avenue. While officers were investigating that incident, police got a call about another armed robbery, this time at Red Letter News on East Washington Avenue. That heist happened about 35 minutes after the first call.
In both cases, the clerk was robbed at gunpoint. No injuries were reported.
