Storm damage, power outages after overnight severe weather

Parts of southern Wisconsin are seeing damage after a storm rolled through Thursday night into Friday morning.

There are reports of trees down in Monona, including one that fell on a house at the corner of Woodlawn Drive and Glenview Drive.

In Beaver Dam, authorities believe a lightning strike sparked a house fire on Park Avenue, around 11 p.m. No injuries were reported.

Some of the reports from the National Weather service include one inch hail near the Dane County Regional Airport, multiple trees down in Beaver Dam, trees down near Portage and one inch hail accumulating to one-to-two inches deep in Marquette. Reports said the hail there fell for at least 5 full minutes.
