A man was injured in an attempted robbery early Sunday in Madison.
Police say the 27-year-old man was walking on Rosemary Ave. near Hermina St. shortly before 3 a.m. when another man approached him. The man demanded the victim's wallet. During the confrontation, the man pulled a knife and stabbed the victim in the shoulder. The victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Police are still searching for the suspect. The suspect is described as a black man about six feet in height with a skinny build. He was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and dark jeans.
