MILWAUKEE (AP) _ Milwaukee police say they have detained two persons of interest in last month's fatal shooting of a 6-year-old boy.
Police say a 23-year-old man was arrested in Milwaukee and a 32-year-old man was arrested in Chicago as part of the investigation into the July 22 killing of Justin Evans.
Family members say the incident happened while Justin was visiting his grandmother's house and planning to head out on a fishing trip. Justin was running to the house to tell his mother he was leaving when witnesses say gun shots rang out in the yard and he was hit.
Justin is believed to be the youngest victim to die by gunfire in Milwaukee this year.
