UPDATE: Madison police chief Mike Koval says a 33 year old man is dead, and a 29 year old man was seriously wounded in the gunfire. He is expected to survive.
Koval says they are searching for 2 suspects. He says one looked like an African American male and one was either a light-skinned African American man or a Hispanic man. Both had masks on and were sitting outside the convenience store, waiting for the victim.
Koval says the two suspects made no attempt to go into the 7-Eleven or rob anyone. They're not sure the motive, but say it looks like one or both of the victims were targeted. "This was a cold, brutal assassination."
