NEW GLARUS (WKOW) -- Highway 39 is back open in both directions after closing temporarily Friday night due to a fire in New Glarus.
According to the Green County Sheriff's Office, firefighters worked to put out a fire at Puemple's Olde Tavern on 18 6th street.
Fire officials say the fire started on the second floor of the building, above the first-floor bathroom.
They tell 27 News that people were inside at the time of the fire and were safely evacuated. There were no injuries.
Investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the fire.
