Had a Deerfield man not tried to outrun police early Tuesday morning, Dane County deputies say he would've just received a couple of minor tickets and been sent on his way.
Instead, 34 year old Aaron Ethun is jailed on a number of charges, including felony eluding.
Police tried pulled Ethun over in Deerfield just after 12:30 a.m. As the deputy was questioning Ethun, he sped off. The 20 mile chase came to an end on the interstate when the state patrol threw down road spikes.
Police believe Ethun decided to make a run for it because his license was revoked, which is a just minor offense these days.
