The Dane County Sheriff's Department has confirmed at least 1 fatality in the accident that involved 20 vehicles, including several semi's, just before 8 a.m. MedFlight was called to the scene, along with several ambulances.
People who were not injured were taken to the Verona Fire Department. Families members are asked to go to the fire department and avoid the scene.
All lanes in both directions of 18/151 are closed.
As for cause, fog is said to be a factor.
