Primary narrows down candidates for Dane County Board

MADISON (WKOW) -- Primaries on Tuesday narrowed down the candidates for the April election in three Dane County Board races.

According to unofficial results from Dane County, Pam Porter and Yogesh Chawla earned the most votes in District 6, beating out Heather Driscoll and Britt Cudaback. 

Incumbent supervisor Al Matano earned 49 percent of the vote in District 11. He'll move on to the April election, where he will face Kelly Danner. Danner earned 39 percent of the vote in Tuesday's primary. Matano and Danner bested Nancy Bogue.

Steven Peters and Brent Renteria will square off in District 15. Peters outpaced Renteria in the primary. Peters earned 62 percent of the vote to Renteria's 26 percent. Joseph Ryan came in third with 12 percent.

The Spring Election is set for Tuesday, April 3.
