UPDATE (WKOW) -- Wisconsin State Patrol says a 61-year-old man from Madison died after a crash near Cottage Grove.
The crash happened just before 10:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 28 on I-94. A Dodge Caliber was heading west near Highway N when it stopped or slowed in the right lane of traffic. A Chevrolet pick-up behind it crashed into the rear of the Caliber.
The driver of the Caliber, a 61-year-old man from Madison, died. His name has not been released to the public yet.
The driver of the pick-up was a 34-year-old man from Mazomanie. He was taken to UW Hospital. Troopers say he will survive.
