Police are searching for a man who robbed a bank Monday on N. Sherman Avenue.
A teller activated a holdup alarm about noon Monday, April 16, 2018 at the BMO Harris Bank, 1202 N. Sherman Ave, according to Dane County Communications.
No weapon was seen, but a man demanded money from a teller and fled on foot with cash. A police dog attempted to track him down, but thus far has not been successful, according to a Madison Police Department news release.
The robber is described as a black male, late 40s to early 50s, black and gray hair, mustache, thin build, 5'9" to 6', wearing dark puffy coat, dark pants, dark winter hat.
