Madison fugitive found hiding in wall

The Dane County Sheriff's Office arrested known fugitive Jeremy Waugh of Madison on Wednesday. The Dane County Sheriff's deputies and the U.S. Marshals Service served a search warrant at 939 Rockefeller Lane in Madison.

Authorities say Waugh was found hiding in an elaborately planned space behind a false wall inside a bedroom. According to authorities, he was found in the home of his friend Tracy Martinez.

Waugh was wanted on charges of strangulation and substantial battery. In a press release from the Dane County Sheriff's Office, Waugh struggled with deputies at the time of his arrest resulting in a an added charge of resisting.

Deputies also arrested Tracy Martinez for aiding.
