Madison police say a response to community concerns is landing five people in jail on multiple drug counts. Authorities say an initiative on Friday targeted street drug dealing in the East Washington Avenue and North Port Drive corridors. That investigation led to the arrest of Yolanda Paris, Shayenne Holt, Devonte Johnson, Alonti Griffin and Lauren Smith-Brookins. Police today say the five face a variety of charges that include the delivery of cocaine, heroin and marijuana.
