BRODHEAD (WKOW) -- The Brodhead Police Department is trying to figure out who made a portable meth lab found Thursday evening.
A homeowner in the 500 block of 14th Street found the materials in a shopping bag near a shed. Police say the chemicals inside plastic bottles are used to make methamphetamine in a process called the "one pot method."
Police say the "one pot method" is extremely dangerous. Brodhead Police Chief Chris Hughes says, "The chemicals could explode, cause chemical burns, and create (an) environmental hazard."
Brodhead Police say if you know anything about the portable meth lab, call them at (608) 897-2112 or leave an anonymous tip by calling Green County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-422-7463.
