Monroe police were called to the Monroe Clinic on Thursday for a man who had been stabbed. Authorities on scene discovered that the victim was stabbed by a knife.
The investigation uncovered that the 45-year-old man had an argument with his son in an apartment in the 2700 block of 8 1/2 Street on the city's east side.
Police say the fight turned physical and the son, identified as Zachary Hennessy, allegedly stabbed his father with a knife.
Police arrested Hennessy at the apartment where the fight occurred. He faces charges of battery and disorderly conduct.
