An official with the Rock County District Attorney's Office says no charges will be brought against a Beloit teacher who was accused of sexually assaulting a teenage student.
Deputy District Attorney Perry Foltz says prosecutors cannot meet their burden of proof in the case involving Jaron Dubose, so the case is being dropped.Beloit Police arrested Dubose in January and alleged Dubose sexually assaulted a 14-year old student in a classroom of the Beloit Learning Academy in December 2016. School District officials say Dubose had been placed on administrative leave in November 2017, when the investigation began.
School district officials have yet to respond to contacts from 27 News seeking comment on when or whether Dubose would be reinstated to his teaching position.
