PLATTEVILLE (WKOW) -- The Grant County sheriff is reporting storm damage near the Walmart in Platteville, following reports of funnel clouds in the area.
There also is a report of a debris field near Belmont, according to the LaFayette County Sheriff. Sirens were heard going off in Belmont.
The funnel clouds were reported around 11:45 a.m. Tuesday. The National Weather Service did not issue a Tornado Warning, saying the threat did not rise to that level.
The NWS will investigate whether a funnel cloud briefly touched down near Rewey in Iowa County and in Platteville.
