GRANT COUNTY (WKOW) -- The National Weather Service confirmed a third tornado touched down during the storms that swept through southern Wisconsin on Tuesday.
This tornado hit Georgetown, an unincorporated community outside of Cuba City in Grant County. The National Weather Service says the twister touched down at 10:42 a.m. Tuesday and was on the ground for about one-tenth of a mile. The confirmation was based on a social media video that showed the tornado in contact with the ground.
The tornado was rated an EF-0 with winds that hit 65 miles per hour.
No damage was reported.
Two other tornadoes touched down in southern Wisconsin on Tuesday. Both were in Lafayette County.
