VERONA (WKOW) -- The Verona Police Department says the "Welcome to Verona" sign has been stolen.
The sign was at the corner of N. Main Street and Cross Country Road. The large, custom signed was put into place 10 years ago by the Verona Betterment Organization. To replace it, it will cost about $10,000.
The police department was notified of the theft on August 13. If you know what happened to the sign or who was responsible for the theft, please contact the Verona Police Department at (608) 845-7623.
