The National Weather Service issued the warning Thursday, ahead of expected rain on Friday.
Water levels in the Yahara Chain of Lakes is reaching all time high levels.
Lake Monona has reached 847.75 feet breaking the 100 year flood mark which is 847.70.
Lake Waubesa has also broken the 100 year stage at 847.11 breaking the mark of 847.00.
Lake levels will continue to rise over the next 24 hour.
