Madison police are looking for a 30-year-old suspect in connection with a shooting incident early this afternoon near Elver Park.
The shooting happened around 12:21 p.m. in the 1100 block of Morraine View Dr, according to Madison Police Information Officer Joel Despain.
Police say the injured man is 19 and was shot in the leg during a dispute.
The suspect is an African-American male, 30, with dreadlock hair wearing a red shirt.
The shooter and victim know each other, according to Despain.
The MPD is in the process of interviewing witnesses and trying to identify a suspect.
