Cop who mocked Milwaukee Bucks player on social media fired

Milwaukee police Chief Alfonso Morales on Thursday said he fired a police officer who mocked Milwaukee Bucks guard Sterling Brown on social media after a January confrontation outside a Walgreens store.

According to WISN-TV, Morales made the announcement about Erik Andrade’s employment during an “On the Issues” event at Marquette University moderated by WISN 12 NEWS’ Mike Gousha.

Brown was talking with officers while waiting for a citation for illegally parking in a disabled spot outside the store on Jan. 26 when they took Brown down and shocked him with a stun gun because he didn’t immediately remove his hands from his pockets as ordered. Brown was never charged for the parking violation.

Andrade posted on Facebook, saying: “Nice meeting Sterling Brown of the Milwaukee Bucks at work this morning! Lol#FearTheDeer”
