STOUGHTON (WKOW) — Police have arrested a suspect for stabbing a man in Stoughton Wednesday evening.
Stoughton police say officers were called to 520 East Street around 5 p.m. on September 19 and found a 43-year-old man with multiple stab wounds. The suspect ran away before officers arrived.
Officers caught up with Jeffrey O’Neill, 35, in the 900 block of S. Fourth Street and he was arrested. He now faces a charge of reckless endangering safety and is being held in Dane County Jail.
Police say the victim is in a hospital in stable condition.
