An investigation is underway after Madison police found two people dead inside a house on the city's East side.
Officers responded to the 3100 block of Webb Avenue on Saturday after a report of a possible death. They found a 34-year-old black woman and a 39-year-old black man dead from apparent gunshot wounds. A firearm was recovered at the scene.
Police say there doesn't appear to be an ongoing threat to the public.
