UPDATE (WKOW) — Crews are still on the scene of an explosion that happened at Badger State Ethanol in Monroe Tuesday morning.
An official from Green County Emergency Management said the explosion happened in a corn silo on site just before 6 a.m. which resulted in a fire. The silo was about 40 percent full of dried distillers grain.
No injuries were reported.
Law enforcement are now using a crane and a drone to assess the damage.
