1 person hurt in Madison shooting

UPDATE (WKOW) — Police are looking for two suspects after a shooting in Madison Wednesday night.

Officials from the Madison Police Department said it appears a robbery may have led to the shooting on the 4500 block of Hammersley Road at about 9 p.m.

When officers were called to the scene, they found a 30-year-old man who had a gun shot wound to the torso. Police said his injury is serious, but non-life threatening. At last check, the victim was in stable condition.

Police are working to identify the suspects involved. They did not provide descriptions.

MADISON (WKOW) — Police say one person was shot in Madison Wednesday night.

Police say the victim is male, but they did not have information on his age. He was taken to the hospital, but there is no word on the extent of his injuries.
