UPDATE (WKOW) — A Dane County Sheriff’s Department deputy at the scene told Channel 27 News that officials are investigating the collision, but he also relayed the likely sequence of what happened.
He said it initially appears that a dark green van pulled out into traffic after braking at the stop sign on Oak Park Road. The van then apparently pulled into the path of a westbound motorcycle.
The deputy said the motorcycle reportedly hit the van with such force that it caused the van to turnover.
All those who were injured in the crash were taken to the hospital by ambulance. Their names and conditions haven’t been released.
