FITCHBURG (WKOW) — Police are looking for a suspect who got away from a liquor store with some stolen cash.
Fitchburg police say officers were called to Liquor Town on Williamsburg Way around 12:15 p.m. on Sunday, October 21.
Investigators believe the suspect walked into the store with the hood of a sweatshirt pulled over his face. He pointed a handgun at the clerk and demanded money. There was also a customer inside the store at the time.
Police say the suspects got away with some money. Officers used a K9 to try to track him but he was not found.
The suspect is described as a black man, about 200 pounds and 5’9″ to 6 feet tall. He was wearing black pants and a black hooded sweatshirt.
