Deputies with the Dane County Sheriff’s Office are looking for a man who told a gas station cashier he was planning to burn down a school.
Investigators say the man made the comment at the Kwik Trip in Blooming Grove during the late evening hours of Sunday, November 25.
They say the man did not elaborate on the threat, nor did he identify a specific school.
Deputies say the cashier believed the man was homeless and living out of his vehicle. He’s believed to be driving a white GMC truck with “JX” in the license plate.
The man is in his 50s and was last seen wearing a blue hat and a neon green jacket under a brown coat. Anyone who can identify the man in the attached picture should call the Dane County Sheriff’s Office Tip Line at 608-284-6900.
