TOWN OF OAKLAND (WKOW) — Right now, Highway 18 is closed in both directions near Cambridge, as crews are battling a fire.
Fire officials say someone spotted the fire around 8:40 p.m. while driving by Giovanni’s restaurant in the 9000 block of Highway 18 in the town of Oakland.
There was fire in the kitchen of the building, according to Cambridge fire.
Crews from Cambridge, Lake Mills, Edgerton, Stoughton, and Cottage Grove fire departments are all responding to put out the fire. Officials say it is still an active scene.
