Details
Madison Police Department responded to an attempted burglary on the 600 block of N. Carroll Street. Two suspects entered an occupied residence and were confronted by the occupant. The resident armed themselves with a firearm and fired shots at the intruders as they fled the dwelling. Suspects fled in an unknown direction. It is unknown if the intruders were struck.
