Platteville police are searching for a man in connection with a Tuesday stabbing.
The man, last seen wearing an orange coat, ran north on Second Street in Platteville shortly after stabbing another person in the head and abdomen last night, the Platteville Police Department said in a Facebook post.
The man is described in the post as being white, five feet 11 inches tall and 230 pounds.
City of Platteville street cameras caught the man on a video released by the police department.
Police said the stabbing took place in a parking lot on the corner of North Second Street and East Mineral Street.
The person stabbed was treated by EMS just after 11 p.m. Tuesday, police said.
