UPDATE (WKOW) — The power outage that disrupted approximately 15 outbound flights this morning at the Dane County Regional Airport was caused by extreme cold, according to airport officials.
In a Monday afternoon tweet, the airport said they had determined the cold was behind the power outage and thanked passengers for their patience.
Operations were back to normal by noon, and any delays during the afternoon were not related to the outage, according to the airport.

However, DCRA officials are asking passengers on the concourse level to exit and be re-screened by TSA. They say passengers will be prioritized by departure time.
