SUN PRAIRIE (WKOW) — Royal Oaks Elementary School in Sun Prairie is closed Tuesday, Feb. 5, due to a water main break near the school.
Administrators are asking parents to come to Royal Oaks school to pick up their children.
As students are picked up, parents will be asked to verify who you are with a photo ID, and the child will be signed out.
School officials say they will be unable to release children without verification that you have permission from a parent or guardian.
Students not picked up before 10 a.m., we be sent to Meadow View Elementary School for the remainder of the school day. Lunch will be served to all Royal Oaks students at Meadow View.
Royal Oaks students will be shuttled back to Royal Oaks at the end of the day for their regular transportation home.
