MADISON (WKOW) – After a mild start to the weekend, Arctic air has invaded the Midwest causing temps to plummet 20-30° below average.
MONDAY
Expect a sun-cloud mix with wind chills staying sub-zero all day. Actual high temps stay stuck in the single digits.
MONDAY NIGHT
Temps dip to around -3° with wind chills around -10° to -15°. A few flurries are also possible as a weak area of low pressure drifts through the Great Lakes region.
FULL FORECAST: No accumulating precipitation all work week long!
TUESDAY
Highs will climb to the teens, but wind chills will stay at or below zero with a breeze continuing out of the WNW.
WEDNESDAY
Temps get back to around 20° in the afternoon after starting off below zero again in the morning.
