Flooding causes closures throughout southern Wisconsin

(WKOW) — Rising water due to melting snow and rain is causing closures throughout southern Wisconsin.

BLANCHARDVILLE

All lanes in both directions are blocked on WIS 78 at County H because of flooding, according to WisDOT.

DARLINGTON

The Main Street bridge in Darlington closed Thursday morning due to flooding.

The bridge is over the Pecatonica River, which is high after rain and melting snow.

Police ask you to avoid the area and find another route.

DODGEVILLE

All lanes are blocked on WIS 191 from County Highway W to County Highway K because of water over the roadway.

The Iowa County Highway Department thinks this closure will be in effect throughout Thursday morning.

LODI

All lanes are closed in both directions on WIS 188 between Harmon Road E and County V because of water over the roadway.

MOUNT HOREB

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation says all lanes on WIS 78 both northbound and southbound between County A and Lee Valley Road are closed due to water over the roadway.

PARDEEVILLE

All lanes are closed in both directions on WIS 44 between Crown Road and Barden Road because of flooding over the roadway.

THERESA

All lanes are closed in both directions on WIS 28 between WIS 175 and I-41 because of water over the roadway.

VERONA

All North and South bound lanes are closed on WIS 69 between County PB and US 151 because of flooding.
