Madison police arrested a man and a teenage girl after the girl hit the man in the head several times with a frying pan, Wednesday evening, police say.
The 40-year-old Madison man routinely allowed kids in the neighborhood to come over to use his TV and gaming system, according to an incident report from the Madison Police Department.
The man allegedly got angry after a 14-year-old used the man’s credit card to buy “video game content,” and hit the teen in the face, police said.
The man told police he had intended to strike the teen in the chest and had apologized, but the boy fled back home and told his family what happened, according to police.
That is when, police said, a 15-year-old girl went over to the man’s house. The girl allegedly “battered him with his own frying pan.” Police said the girl hit the man several times in the head.
Police responded just after 8:30 p.m. and arrested the man for physical abuse of a child, and also arrested the girl for substantial battery.
