MADISON/FITCHBURG (WKOW) — Some lanes will shift on Verona Road near the Madison and Fitchburg border beginning Thursday night.
Northbound Verona Road traffic between Williamsburg Way and Raymond Road will shift back to the new pavement on the west side of the highway.
Also expect some lane closures on both sides of Verona Road between 8:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m.
Officials think the lane closures and new traffic pattern could cause delays, so plan ahead.
If you’d like to learn more about the next phase of Verona Road construction, there’s an open house meeting Thursday at 5:00 p.m. at the Verona Road project field office on Nesbitt Road.
