A Baraboo woman and her dog died Sunday following a two-vehicle crash in the town of Westfield in Sauk County.
The Sauk County Communication Center was called about a two car crash that happened about 3:50 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Wisconsin Highway 23 and County Highway W, in the township of Westfield.
Investigators say that a 2003 Oldsmobile Alero, driven by Janette R. Accola, 87, of Baraboo, was traveling west bound on Highway W and pulled out in front of a 2009 Chrysler minivan.
The Chrysler, driven by Timothy G. Houk, 44 of Marshfield, was traveling north on Highway 23 and collided with Accola’s Oldsmobile.
