Thousands of MG&E customers are without power on Madison’s west side after a vehicle ran into a pole, according to the utility company’s website.
MG&E’s outage mapshows about 6,016 customers are without power as of 10:30 a.m. Thursday.
Dana Brueck with Madison Gas and Electric said a car hit a pole at University Avenue and Allen Boulevard.
“Crews are on site and working as quickly and as safely as possible to get everyone’s power back up,” said Brueck.
