MADISON (WKOW) — Foxconn plans to make a footprint in Madison by buying a building downtown.
On Friday, the company will hold an event to announce the purchase of a downtown building that it plans to turn into an innovation center.
It will be part of the company’s statewide network that’s anchored by a manufacturing facility in Racine County.
The event will be held at Monona Terrace on Friday at 11:30 a.m.
At the event, Foxconn staff will be joined by executives from BMO Harris Bank, which owns a building on the square.
It has not been confirmed which building Foxconn will be purchasing.
