From the National Wx Service-Sullivan-
A strong winter storm will track south of Wisconsin Saturday through Saturday night. Abundant moisture will result in a widespread 5 to 7 inches of snow across southern Wisconsin. Locally higher amounts are possible in focused bands. Peak snowfall may come down at a rate of 1 inch per hour during the afternoon. Warm pavement temperatures will result in slushy accumulations, making travel difficult. The snow will be of a heavier, wet consistency. Freezing temperatures Saturday night will cause any standing water, or slush to freeze.
Sunshine and highs in the upper 40s on Sunday will help melt quite a bit of that new snow.
