BLACK RIVER FALLS (WKOW) — The Bureau of Indian Affairs has published the Final Environmental Impact Statement for the Ho-Chunk Nation Fee-to-Trust and Casino Project, a major step toward the proposed new casino in Beloit becoming a reality.
Beloit City Manager Lori Curtis said “The City of Beloit is thrilled to see this process move forward. We are committed to our partnership
with the Ho-Chunk Nation and are ready to hit the ground running.”
Now, a public comment period opens prior to the Bureau’s recording of decision, followed by Governor Evers’ concurrence.
