The battle over abortion rights takes another turn at Wisconsin’s State Capitol after Democrats introduced a new bill to protect the procedure.
Representative Lisa Subeck (D-Madison) and Senator Fred Risser (D-Madison) said they’re fearful with recent appointments on the U.S. Supreme Court Roe v. Wade could be overturned.
They introduced the “Abortion Access Protection Act” which would repeal Wisconsin’s 1849 criminal abortion ban.
