Gov. Tony Evers has signed an executive order to raise the Rainbow Pride flag over the Wisconsin State Capitol for the first time in state history.
The raising ceremony is set for 1:30 p.m. on Friday, June 7, 2019.
On Monday, Madison Mayor Satya Rhodes-Conway along with city and Dane County officials kicked off Madison’s celebration of Pride Month by raising the rainbow flag in front of the city’s Municipal Building Monday afternoon.
