Green County thieves make off with 1970 John Deere tractor

MONROE (WKOW) — Thieves stole 1970 farm tractor earlier this month and the Green County Sheriff’s Office is looking for information to help recover it.

Sometime between Saturday, June 8 and the early morning hours of June 13, 2019, thieves entered a shed in Clarno Township that contained a 1970 John Deere 4320 tractor, along with other farming equipment, according to sheriff’s office news release.

A hay rake had to first be disconnected from the tractor, which would have taken some time, according to the sheriff’s office.

The tractor has a roll bar, bald front tires, a new seat and is missing a silver metal piece that holds the John Deere logo on the side of the tractor.
