MADISON (WKOW) — Madison police said a woman fell into a pond and died Saturday night.
According to a blog post from Chief Mike Koval, officers responded to Golf Glen Saturday around 8:30 p.m., seven minutes after the initial call was made. The caller was her boyfriend who said he wasn’t able to get her out of the water.
Police, fire and EMS tried to revive the 60-year-old woman immediately after she was pulled from the water but were unsuccessful.
The medical examiner is working to determine the cause of death.
