Boy drowns in northeast Wisconsin

A 12-year-old boy drowned Tuesday in a retention pond in northeast Wisconsin when he and three brothers went to release a turtle.

Family identified the drowning victim as Dillon Tapio. He would’ve turned 13 on June 27, according to WBAY-ABC 2 in Green Bay.

The Kaukauna Police and Fire department were called about 9:40 p.m. Tuesday to Lamplighter Drive in Kaukauna.
