UDPATE: Madison Gas and Electric's online outage map shows power was restored just before noon.

Downtown power outages causing some disruptions Wednesday morning. Around 9 a.m., the City-County Building lost service, which was restored in about an hour. State buildings downtown also are impacted. The Department of Administration says they all remain open, but the public is discouraged from visiting during the outage. Crews from Madison Gas and Electric are on scene.
