Dane County Sheriff’s officials say an ultralight plane made an emergency landing Tuesday in a farm field near a Verona airstrip, with the pilot escaping injury.
Authorities say an eyewitness saw the plane flying low near the take off area of a Verona airfield and land in a nearby field.
Dane County Sheriff’s deputies, along with Verona Police and Fire, responded to Grandview Road in the town of Verona about 11:15 a.m. Tuesday for a report of a plane that had made an emergency landing in a field.
